Nacida en Barcelona en 1989. Se graduó en dirección cinematográfica e hizo el master de Film Business en la ESCAC. En 2019 fundó Nightwalk Films, una productora de cine y documental independiente. Desde entonces ha producido cuatro cortometrajes y un largometraje, el documental Balika. Ha escrito y dirigido cuatro cortometrajes: Ancestre (2017), Infierno (2018), Vermo (2019) y Una Caña (2023). Actualmente está desarrollando su primer largometraje como guionista y directora además de otros cortometrajes como productora.
Berta Canivell is born in 1989 in Barcelona. She is graduated in cinema Direction and did a master degree in Film Businness in ESCAC.
In 2019 she founded Nightwalk Films, an independent audiovisual company. Since then she produced five short films and her first documentary film “Balika”, and directed three short films and other audiovisual projects. This year she is developing more short films as a producer, while she is also developing her Opera Prima as a scriptwriter and director.
